Fees
We currently charge £6 per hour for unfunded hours (or hours over) at preschool. Staff to child ratios are : 1:5 for 2 – 3 year olds; 1:8 for 3 – 4 year olds.
This fee includes a breakfast for those attending prior to 8.15am, small snacks throughout the day and a light snack for those attending after 3pm (although this will not be a substitute for tea at home). Water and milk are always readily available.
If you would like your child to have a hot meal at lunchtime this costs £2.80 per child.
Funding
If you are eligible for the 30 hours per week free childcare, you are able to use your funded hours across all of our opening hours (07.55am – 5.55pm) and there are no additional consumable charges. Hot lunches, dance and french are optional extras. Please ensure you register with HMRC and create a childcare account to receive your eligibility code.
We are also registered to offer the universal 15 hours per week free childcare provision to each eligible two, three and four year old. At present you can claim funding the term after your child’s second or third birthday as follows:
- Children born from the 1st Sept to 31st Dec – Spring Term onwards
- Children born from the 1st Jan to 31st March – Summer Term onwards
- Children born from the 1st April to 31st August – Autumn Term onwards
Finally, we are registered with the Tax Free Childcare government scheme. For every £8 that you pay into this account, the government will top you up with £2 to a maximum of £500 every 3 months for each child.
Wraparound Care
We now offer wraparound care in two sessions: 7.30am – 9am and 3pm – 5.55pm. Each 1 hour session will be £6, there are no divisions of the hourly rate. For example if you book 3pm – 3.45pm you will pay £6 for that hour.
